Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Tullany AFRIKAN Trade Post, a trading division of Tullany Holdings Limited, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

Tullany Holdings Limited is a privately held corporate group registered in Uganda, with operations across the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, and the United States. The AFRIKAN Trade Post operates as a direct export service sourcing and shipping natural Ugandan products worldwide.

These terms apply to all orders placed via afrikantradepost.com or directly via WhatsApp with our team.

Section 02

Products & Descriptions

All products sold by Tullany AFRIKAN Trade Post are natural goods sourced directly from Uganda. We make every effort to accurately describe our products, including weight, packaging type, and origin.

• Product images are representative — natural products may vary slightly in colour, texture, and appearance between batches due to seasonal and environmental factors
• All weights and measurements are approximate and may vary within an acceptable industry tolerance of ±5%
• Shea butter products are raw and unrefined — colour and consistency may vary naturally between harvests
• Honey products are raw and unfiltered — natural crystallisation may occur and does not affect quality or safety
• We reserve the right to substitute equivalent packaging where the specified packaging is unavailable, without affecting product content or weight

Section 03

Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

• Stripe — credit and debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Bank transfer (BACS / international wire transfer) — details provided on request
• WhatsApp order confirmation with payment via agreed method

All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). Your bank or card provider will automatically convert the USD amount to your local currency at the point of checkout or payment — you do not need to pay in USD directly. Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or international transfer costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Orders will be held for a maximum of 72 hours pending payment. If payment is not received within 72 hours of order confirmation, the order will be cancelled and stock returned to availability.

Section 04

Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from Uganda using the following carriers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and selected carrier.

Dispatch times are as follows:

• Retail orders (250g–1kg) — dispatched within 2–3 business days of cleared payment
• Wholesale orders (5kg–10kg) — dispatched within 3–5 business days of cleared payment
• Custom/large volume orders — dispatch timeline agreed at time of order confirmation

Once an order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be provided via WhatsApp or email. Tullany AFRIKAN Trade Post is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

Section 05

Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

When ordering from outside Uganda, your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the buyer's responsibility.

We are unable to advise on the exact customs charges applicable in your country, as these vary widely. We recommend contacting your local customs authority or freight forwarder before placing a large order.

• All shipments are declared accurately with correct product descriptions and values — we do not under-declare shipment values
• A Certificate of Origin (Uganda) is available on request for wholesale orders — please advise at time of ordering
• All goods are shipped with accurate food product classification codes (HS codes) to ensure correct customs treatment at destination
• For Chinese buyers, customs clearance is the responsibility of the importer in China
• For UK buyers, import VAT and duties may apply depending on order value — however natural food products including honey and shea butter are often zero-rated for VAT purposes. We recommend checking with HMRC or your customs broker
• For US buyers, shipments under $800 USD are generally duty-free under the de minimis threshold — and natural food products such as honey and shea butter may attract zero or very low duties above this threshold

Section 06

Returns & Refunds Policy

We operate a strict no-returns policy for the following reasons:

• The cost of returning goods internationally — including shipping, customs duties, and import taxes on re-entry into Uganda — routinely exceeds the value of the product itself
• Natural products including shea butter, honey, and tea cannot be guaranteed to have been stored correctly once they have left our care
• International food and cosmetic imports are subject to strict regulatory controls which make return shipments impractical

We therefore strongly encourage all buyers — particularly first-time buyers and wholesale customers — to order a small sample quantity before committing to a larger order. We are happy to facilitate sample orders via WhatsApp.

Damaged or Incorrect Goods

In the event that goods arrive damaged or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp at +256 742 014279 with photographic evidence. We will assess each case individually and, where damage or error is confirmed to be our responsibility, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

• Replacement goods dispatched at no additional cost
• Partial refund reflecting the extent of damage
• Credit note against a future order

We do not offer refunds for damage caused by customs inspection, carrier handling, or failure of the buyer to collect goods promptly from customs.

Section 07

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tullany Holdings Limited and the AFRIKAN Trade Post shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from:

• Delays in delivery caused by the carrier, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our control
• Loss or damage to goods once in the possession of the carrier
• Failure of goods to meet regulatory requirements in the buyer's jurisdiction
• Any customs seizure, detention, or destruction of goods by customs authorities
• Natural variation in product characteristics between batches

Our total liability to any buyer shall not exceed the value of the goods purchased in the relevant order.

Section 08

Wholesale & Bulk Orders

Wholesale orders (10kg and above) are subject to the following additional terms:

• A purchase order specifying product, quantity, packaging requirements, and delivery address must be provided before processing
• Full payment is required before goods are processed and packaged for dispatch
• Wholesale buyers are responsible for all import permits, licences, and regulatory compliance in their country
• For cosmetics manufacturers in China, the UK, and the EU — buyers are responsible for ensuring Nilotica shea butter meets the relevant cosmetic ingredient regulations in their jurisdiction
• We do not private label or customise packaging — goods are supplied in our standard packaging unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Volume pricing for orders over 10kg is available on request — contact us via WhatsApp

Section 09

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Uganda, without prejudice to any applicable provisions of English law where operations in the United Kingdom are concerned.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version will always be available at afrikantradepost.com/trade-terms.html. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
